Hablando en serio, sí. Murió en los últimos ataques biológicos a Buenos Aires en 2125* cuando él tenía 4 o 5 años si no me equivoco. Era su hermana mayor, habrá tenido 13 o 14. A Ariel le pesa muchísimo porque a veces siente que no la recuerda tanto como quisiera hacerlo. Vive con su padre y madre, que siguen felizmente (como se puede, dadas las circunstancias) casados. Ariel casi nunca habla sobre ella, solamente si le preguntan, y hasta ahí y nada más.

Esos mismos ataques también mataron a los padres de Melanie (cuando ella era una bebita todavía, se crió con sus abuelos) y contaminaron el viejo barrio de Marcos y su familia (por eso vivió un tiempo en el Monumental y después en una de las "ciudades refugio" construidas en esa época). Prácticamente todos en Buenos Aires perdieron a alguien en esos ataques, y las partes de la ciudad que todavía siguen contaminadas son por eso.
